The Achere Foundation Back to School Project is a project that aims at providing orphans, IDPs, and children from poor family backgrounds the necessary school items and access to education. The project consists of purchasing school items such as exercise books, respective writing materials, school fees, bags, and school uniforms alongside a follow-up of the children during the school academic year. For children who might be facing difficulties with classwork, proposed home classes are been offered by ACHFOND.

A team of 5 arrived at the orphanage, alongside our partners ONOH. a warm welcome was observed by the children which was accompanied by songs, games, and dances. Followed by a word of prayer and an exhortation from a member of the foundation. Next, we had a word from the mother of the orphanage, and we had moments of exchanges with the children, with words of encouragement, the importance of dreaming big and knowing in every one of them, is greatness. the event could not finish without giving out the word of God. kids need to know despite great dreams and aspirations, without God on our side we can’t achieve our dreams. 

A total of 35 Children were present and each child received 12 exercise books and school accessories.

we later concluded with snacks and a family picture. Our Partner ONOH will take up the follow-up from their end.
